Our truck is available for local moves near our Lower Hutt facility, specifically within the Wellington area. It cannot be taken past Porirua or Upper Hutt.
The truck is available for a 4-hour time slot. Monday – Saturday, 9am – 1pm / 1pm – 5pm.
To make the most out of the time allocated, we ask you position your goods close to where you will park the truck. Please ensure you are organised for the move ahead of your booking.
If you need extra time or wish to book it for a Sunday, please contact us to make arrangements.
Our truck is designed for ease of use, featuring automatic transmission and a reversing camera. It’s suitable for anyone with a standard car licence.
The cargo space measures 3.1m (L) x 1.7m (W) x 1.8m (H). We include fuel, insurance, moving blankets, tie-down ropes, and an optional fridge trolley for your convenience.
You can reverse the truck to our undercover loading dock, and it’s nearly seamless with the ground floor.

Item Organisation: Organising and label your boxes, and keep a rough track of what will be stored at our storage unit. Not only is this handy for quick loading and unloading, it also allows for easy placement and retrieval of items within the storage unit. What if you place an important box at the back of your unit?
Furniture Disassembly: Disassemble large furniture pieces to ease transport and make the best use of space in the move-in truck. This also allows for more efficient use of space within your storage unit, helping you store more items while maintaining easy access.
Plan Truck Time-slot: Assess the volume of items you need to move and consider whether the standard 4-hour time-slot will suffice. If you think you may need more time, let us know, and we can arrange another slot or provide a key return box for after-hours. Book your rental truck early to secure the appropriate size for your needs. A customer of ours recommends to “check first for availability and book in as it is very popular”, especially on Saturdays.
Strategic Packing: Efficiently utilise the space in your rental truck. Begin with your largest and heaviest items, packing them closely together. Protect your belongings with our provided furniture blankets and secure them with rope against the hooks on the inside of the truck. This minimises movement and potential damage during transit.
